Interpol. Royal Albert hall. 14.11.18

Still dressing in black, still sounding like the sort of music that ought to change the world, and still raising the middle finger to anything that takes itself too seriously Interpol remain the perfect soundtrack for the Brett Easton Ellis generation still lacking in moral guidance and fixated on watching the end of the world on social media.

Scratchy wall of sound guitars, bombastic ‘the end’ drumming, and a voice that sounds like the last angel pleading for redemption, Interpol remind you that the best art is dressed in black, scowling and brutally honest.

Apathetic’s need not apply.
