Get on this
Bangles – if she knew what she wants
A chance to buy a signed Susanna Hoff book gets me digging out the bangles- manic monday, maybe in my top ten of all time, is too obvious to stick here so let’s go for the one i used to listen to on repeat when i was out cycling all the time, totally into pop-art, and besotted by a girl with the best pair of shorts i’ve ever seen.
let loose- crazy for you
A top of the pops from August 94 has me remembering so much about one of my favourite summers of all time. Scout camp, the first girl I really really liked, and this on repeat. Klinsmann signs for Spurs and this is almost the perfect pop song.
Queens of the Stone Age – Emotion Sickness
The falsetto chorus kicks serious ass.
Albert Hammond Jnr – Old Man
Yours to Keep reminds me so much of Benicassim and an old girlfriend- which both remind me of huge and endless possibilities. For that reason Albert may always be my favoruite Stroke. Love this new one.
