Building on their reputation for building heavy, industrial, soundscapes The Body’s pairing with OAA seems to act as a catalyst for both acts to push their music further out into their respective extremes. Kicking off with stronger elements of piercing white noise electronic synthetics (Devalued, Pseudocuesis), Enemy of Love takes a left turn at the midpoint of the album (Fortified tower), removing some of the more abstract moments from their wall of sound and beginning to kick in more obvious, dance-floor, style break beats- pushing the intensity of the industry into more accessible compositions. Like the soundtrack to the next edition of DOOM, Enemy ratches up the angst and the fear, whilst becoming more and more hypnotic.
