Showcasing some of the brightest North Eastern venues and talent, Howayfest shines tonight with the double-header of Tramplene and King Nun.  Elongated throughout the evening, it’s spoken-word/indie rockers Trampolene who sparkle with enthused indie anthems and moments – “Together” standing out in a fine, intense, set.  Packed with superb indie/guitar tracks the collective Nuns remain intense and focused throughout the set with “Golden age” perhaps stealing the show with its heavy riffs and spite.  With huge ambition, and some great artists, Howayfest seems like a date to add to your annual cultural calendar.
