Tigercub. As blue as indigo.

Experimental and pushing rock into extremes by blending thrash, metal, prog, synth and math elements, the Brighton trio’s second album loops right around the rock cannon like a magpie picking up anything interesting and adding it to their own nest.  Standouts Sleepwalker sounds like the best Bond theme tune never associated to the movie franchise, and Blue Mist in my head pulsates with it’s Qotsa ferocity aligned with Muse at their glam prog pomp.  Ten immense, stadium rocking, tracks make up an album packed with hits but, and it’s probably an oversimplification, a one that loses a couple of marks by slightly lacking in originality.
