Four Quarters

Given the pub and drinking culture of the NorthEast, it feels strange that (outside of music venues) it’s still often a challenge to find somewhere interesting and welcoming to hang-out in; especially when all most of us want is a safe environment to have fun with our friends and a place where we don’t feel judged.

The recently opened video-arcade-bar-pizza-outfit Four Quarters may well be the place we never knew we needed.  Packed with 80’s and 90’s stand-up arcade games (Pacman, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter 2 to mention but a few), offering a range of locally brewed beers and spirits, and stacked with some of the finest pizzas in the Northeast, Four Quarters is the type of venue not just to go to with your friends, but perhaps more importantly a place to make new friends.  Topped and tailed with specially screened events (WWE and Superbowl evenings have already proved huge hits) and offering weeknight theme’d activities (The Wednesday night ‘Hot Ones’ quiz is well worth a visit), Four Quarters has been designed to make you feel at home whether you want to play arcade games alone or get involved in well-managed, inclusive, social events.   Friendly, retro and a great venue to hang-out in, Four Quarters is well worth a look.
