So they basically do two halves – one is the new album, with Tim joining for a song – then there’s a break for two songs by Lewis Capaldi (who comes out to a Harry Styles sign) – then it’s a second half of greatest hits.

There’s virtually no craic in the first half, with Matty looking mortal, but when he arrives for the second half all bouncy, witty and full of ‘I don’t like Mackems’ references, you realise it’s all been a part of his meta performance.

I love them, so I’m biased, but they really are as good as you can get. Even more so with their Mackem references….
